General Challenge FAQs .

With the origins of the company stemming from the Dog Show Community, the name is take from the much thought after Challenge Certificate – This is a certificate which the judge signs stating that in their opinion the dog is worthy of becoming a Show Champion. These certificates are awarded by The Kennel Club. A dog will need three of these awards, given by different judges, before he/she becomes a Champion.

We have partnered with the UK’s leading manufacturer of Premium dry dog food who manufactures all of the products that have our Challenge brand.

We have chosen a manufacturer that considers not just the local community but also the local ecology and, ultimately, our planet when they make our food.

They are working towards being completely carbon neutral and ensure they recycle all of their water on-site, as well as planting 20,000 trees in the last five years alone

We no longer have a breeders club as all of our Working Dog range is available to order directly on our website. As we try to ensure that we keep costs down for all customers, we are offering the best prices and offers to all. This also ensures that owners who have puppies raised on Challenge can access the foods that their working puppy may have been reared on.

Unfortunately, free puppy packs are not provided. We hope customers understand that in the current economic climate, keeping prices down for everyone is our main aim.

Currently, due to costs involved with producing and posting samples bags we do not currently supply sample packs. As we are aiming to keep the costs of food as low as we can for our customers, sample packs are not currently possible. Most of the Challenge products are designed with the needs of sensitive dogs in mind and are gentle on the digestive system, we include all ingredients on the product pages so that owners can make an informed choice on the best foods to suit their dogs.

We aim to deliver within 3-5 working days for orders placed before midday.

Our food is delivered by DPD – Monday to Friday ( exc. Bank Holidays)

We sell our dog foods in 12kg, 8kg and 6kg as well as 15kg in the Working Dog range.

We are able to offer discounts to our customers when you buy bags in multiples of 2 that weigh 12kg, 8kg and 6kg.

The bags can be ordered in any multiple of 2 e.g. 2 x 12kg, 2 x 6kg, 1x6kg and 1 x 12kg

There will be a £4 discount applied to each bag at checkout automatically from our Supreme, Premium and Quality ranges .

As this discount applies to orders in multiples of 2, that means if 4,6, 8 etc bags of these weights are ordered, then the discount continues to be applied.

You will see the discount when you view your basket which shows how much of a saving you will be making.

The Challenge Loyalty Club was introduced in 2023 to all of our Challenge customers to recognise your support for our products.

With the loyalty club, when you place an order for Challenge dog food and you set up a customer account when you order (if you don’t already have one). You will collect loyalty points.

For every full £1 that you spend on the Challenge website, you will receive 1 point which will be saved in your customer account.

Each point is worth 1p and as the points add up, you can choose to use your collected points against future Challenge dogfood orders. You can use up to a maximum of £10 worth of your collected points on an order at any one time.
